Dear Parent/Guardian:
The Almira School District is participating in the House Bill 1238 Program and is applying for the Provision 2 National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs for the 2024/25 school year. These programs allow all students that attend Almira Elementary & ACH Middle School in person, to eat breakfast and lunch at no charge to families. If we attain the Provision 2 status this will extend our serving of meals at no charge to families for the next 4 years. The 2024/25 school year is considered our base year and the applications that we receive this year will set us up for the next 4 years. Please take a moment to fill out the Child Nutrition Eligibility and Education Benefit Application (one per household) and return it to our front office, 310 S 3rd St. or P.O. Box 217 Almira WA 99103. The form can be found on our website: almirasd.org, parent resources, Child Nutrition Services.
